One of my favorite "smells" of the holiday season is gingerbread and cinnamon.. I created this card with the soon to be released set over at Flourishes called Sweets of the Season. I colored the gingerbread with copics and used some Spellbinder dies for my layout.
Don't forget to join us over in the Flourishes Member Forums for the release party. The fun all starts Thursday at 9 p.m. CT.

These are darling, Dawn. I do love gingerbread and snowmen; they are a couple of my Christmas time favorites. I think smell plays a big part of that (as far as gingerbread goes, although after the kids used to come in from building their snowmen, there would be a crisp, fresh smell of cool outdoors to accompany the rosy cheeked faces). I made some apple butter recently from our apple cider and spiced it up. Boiling down the butter really concentrated the spice and so when I spread it on my biscuits, it tastes like it should be a smell!!! Like the strong smell of a spicy Christmas candle and not something to eat!!! Does that make sense?!!! Hugs
