Hi! This card was made for today's Sketch Challenge. It also fits HYCCT02C Bring on the Brown; HYCCT10 Walk on By.
Dad didn't come home from the hospital yesterday. (He's test results were not good. Well, it's good, because now Mark and I BOTH have the flu. Our little germ breeder aka MARKIE, still is fine. Of course he is! He's the one who WISHES he was sick so he wouldn't have to go to school! LOL) Mother, as seems to be the norm, now, had a really bad day today, so she's not coming home, either. My grandmother has to go back home, because she needs to get to HER doctor. I just wish she could stay a bit longer, but the 85 year old woman LIKES this doctor. And, I'm not about to argue with her to change doctors to one here.
So, since Mark took the last of the Nitequill (generic for the GOOD STUFF), I can't lay down without coughing. So, I STAMPED! LOL
The focal image was stamped with the Blue Spruce from A Walk in the Woods in Adirondack Espresso. I used a sponge to color in the open areas. I added in some extra fine glitter and Liquid Embroidery for snow. The sky was sprayed on with my Copic Airbrush. The background (blue) was stamped in VersaMark and embossed in gold. (It's the pinecone and pine stamp from Greetings of the Seaon).
Finished card size: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
Total time to complete: 38 minutes

Faith, I can't hold a candle to you even when I'm not sick. How do you do this? This is totally gorgeous. I can practically smell the pine tree it's so realistic. Get some rest and I hope you feel just a little better each day. Hugs!

While I love ALL the details, I tuly love the depth the tree seems to have!!! It looks like if you rub your hand over it, you would feel lots of little bumpy texture. The snow is totally cool, too!
