My friends went to NYC for a 50th b-day, and I wanted to see if I could do a skyline silhouette. I drew a skyline on computer paper, cut it out, punched a 1 1/2" circle from a post-it to mask the sun, sponged the sky and outlined my skyline with a black pen. Removed the masks, and sponged the yellow sun. Drew a darker line using a black marker, then sponged in the rest of the buildings in black ink. Went back and added some white highlights with white gel pen. It's not exactly like I had pictured, but I'm pretty pleased with the final pic. I used a yellow and turquoise cs, and black, to create all of the colored mats. Added texture on the yellow, ribbon, and large black brads.
