for the last five years, i've joined the SGK Breast Cancer 3-day (a 60-mile walk for breast cancer fundraising, awareness, and quest for a cure - i've raised over $25K in 5 years). this year, i won't be walking, but wanted to send cards to the camp (where the walkers sleep in tents at nite) to my friends to support their efforts and provide encouragement to finish. i saw a card posted recently (this one by Susie!) using the running girl and this sentiment to congratulate a first-time marathon runner. i thought it was PERFECT for this purpose.
i purposely only secured the "stitched" side of the layer, so it would look sewn on.
