Julia's challenge today was to use tissue paper. I should really have challenged myself and used the purple tissue that is on my shelf, but hey, I'm doing well to get a card made at all.
A2 base. Base layer is white card stamped with En Francais and sponged with Shabby Shutters, edges wiped with black.
Acetate panel - see tutorial for Acetate and Tissue in resources. I used a Penny Black stamp, and two colours of red re-inker on the reverse side. Hmm, I thought I had orange too, but I didn't, so I had to do without. Only now do I think I could have used alcohol inks... As I already had glitter on my desk from my HYCCT card I added some silver glitter, but it doesn't show. Cut the panel out, edged with a silver marker and added 3 black gems.

Just put this GREAT card in my favorites, I'm wanting to use my distress inkpads more and try some of the very techniques you've used here. Love what you've done, thanks so much for sharing your artistry with all of us!

Beautiful! I'm impressed that you did the tissue acetate technique...I looked at it and opted for simple flowers. Anyway- your card is gorgeous; love the colors and the script with the flower!
