Oh, it feels so good to be stamping for myself again. I've been so busy with workshops and Stamp Camp, so now for a little me-time. Here's my card for this September CAS Challenge CAS85 - Fall Color Challenge (9/20/10) by Miss Boo at Splitcoaststampers. I know it was meant as a fall color challenge, but my mind just went to Christmas. That's probably because I really wanted to use this new hostess set. LOL...
I started with a Crumb Cake card base and stamped my sentiment with Early Espresso ink. The dove was stamped with Craft Very Vanilla ink onto a Crumb Cake scrap, embossed with Clear Emboss Powder, cut out and added to the card with a Dimensional. Finally, I added a 1" strip of Jolly Holiday dsp and hid the seam with some Very Vanilla 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon.
I just love a clean and simple Christmas card. So easy to mass produce! Hmmmm, it just might be the family Christmas card this year.
