Here is a card I made for Mothermark's teapot party. It was done very early this morning, but I was out all day so could not post it!!! I have no story but will send this out to Kyler our fellow teapot stamperfriend Lisa Lara's son:
Thought to use the computer's ancestor, the old typewriter to send a message thanking Kyler for doing what he can to help bring peace. We all want him to come back home safely to his family.
Thank you for looking and enjoy!

I know Mutnik, me too! DH made me sell my electric typewriter when we got our first computer and I did NOT want to sell it! Put a high price on it and would you believe someone PAID my asking price, so I was left without it!
Sorry Peggy, back to your card...I LOVE the little red HEART on it and that you are sending Kyler 5 stars! It doesn't get any better than this! LOVE that you used your FAV color on it too, now it is a part of YOU! SWEET card!

Yes, we must pay respect to our elders. It's not that I don't like typewriters... I just would hate to go back to having to use one. Cut and paste is a whole lot easier on a computer. That being said, your card is awesome! Kyler will get a kick out of it!

Sweet Peg-a-roo, how nice to see you at da tea party!! I also started my career on a typewriter similar to this one. We keep one at the office now as a historical relic and recently had a young college intern who had always wanted to type on a real typewriter. It was such a hoot to watch her jump out of her chair when the key reached up and struck the paper. Did she make me feel old? Yup. Oh well. Such is life.
This is a great card for Kyler, and I love your touch with the heart on it.
