Congrats to Alimarbles for being Featured Stamper. I chose this pretty log cabin quilt card for my inspiration: Quilt Block Card by alimarbles at Splitcoaststampers It was ironic because I had made a comment last week.
I used GP white cs as the base. I used SU Pink Passion cs, cut into 1/2" strips. I also used GP white cs, cut in 1/2" strips with my rotary cutter and cutting mat. I glued each strip around the black square onto black cs. I then used the CB Houndstooth folder for the white strips. I adhered on SU basic black cs. The center square is SU basic black cs. I used the CB Breast Cancer Die Cut on SU pink passion cs and centered onto the black cs. I added a medium size adhesive pearl to the center of the ribbon. The ribbon is attached with 2 mini 3D dots. The main panel is attached with medium 3D dots. I added a striped pink & white ribbon, tied a bow. I then had these handmade crochet flowers so I decided to hot glue the flower onto the ribbon and used white floss through the pink button and used the hot glue gun again to make sure it won't come off.
I've been making breast cancer tote bags and I thought this was perfect for me on this card.
Things I changed: Colors, CB folder, added crochet flower and used die cut for the center.
TFL!

Love your "Log Cabin" quilt square done in paper. How timely with the Breast Cancer Awareness symbol in the center. The crocheted flower and pretty ribbon are wonderful accents.

Oh Connie! What a perfect card to case for a master quilter! Your card is as beautiful as your quilting. Beautiful colors, and wonderful texturing. Love that lil bloom in the corner!
