I have been wanting to play along with this week's special sketch for the 300 milestone since it was posted, but alas, I just have not had the time, that is, until today .
This afternoon my sweet hubster took the boys to our church Fall Festival to give me some much needed quiet time (I will be joining them later) and while I should probably be taking a nap after last night's major lack of sleep--ugh, I decided my time would be better used by making a card . I am wide awake and it is World Card Making Day after all, what else SHOULD I be doing, right? ;)
I was thrilled to play with a brand new digi (a super cute one to boot) illustrated by Leah Cornelius for Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. I just LOVE this darling bear and couldn't wait to color him up.
I am not sure what made me go with gray, I usually color bears brown....I don't think there even is such a thing as a gray bear, but there are gray teddy bears, so I think it works .
I also finally got to use the YUMMMMMMMY new Jovial papers from Basic Grey. OH MY GOODNESS---is this paper divine or what?! I may have to stock up on this one!
I hope the sketch police don't come after me for tweaking the sketch a bit ;), but my eye kept telling me that the image needed to be tilted, so I went with it. I'm a rebel, what can I say ;).
Anyway, if you are still with me after all that rambling, thanks for taking a peek at my card today!
Blessings,
Korin
