I played from one the blogs Stephanie has linked and will have to go back and take a look at site now. This wallpaper is what inspired my card, I saw the tree branches and when I looked at the wallpaper I though fall Flower Soft and also thought what a fun personality the person must be to use that wallpaper in their homeÂ…itÂ’s just wild!
I just love playing in this challenge, Stephanie and other members come up with such fun sites to pick from and I appreciate the work she puts into the challenge each week, thanks Stef!
-My image panel is colored with Prismacolor pencils, baby oil and paper stumps using the Gamsol Technique. Baby oil replaces the Gamsol.
-The flower soft is attached with AleeneÂ’s tacky glue in the brown bottle. I found some metal tips that allows me to squeeze out a fine line on the cardstock. I remove the regular cap on the glue bottle and screwed the tip in place and it stays there even when storing. To keep it air tight I stick a stainless steel pin in the tip and push it down to the ball of the pin. It keeps it air tight and ready to use. I use this glue on every card I make along with tape. I found the tips in the department that sells supplies for painting on glass at my JoannÂ’s store. Three tips come in a package. The stainless steel pin is to avoid rust so read your package carefully or youÂ’ll have a mess.
-The Martha Stewart leaves are scored with a metal ball stylus and also sculpted just a little between the vein lines. I colored with Prismacolor pencils and they are glued to the card.
