This card is for a family friend who custom made a buffet for me based on my own design. Since my bonehead hubby couldn't see all the special touches on the card, I'll explain them... maybe I can see them because I made them and no one else can! I used an oak tree image because the buffet was made of oak. I used the crackle stamp on the caramel cs to look like bark. And the close to cocoa cs was faux-woodgrained to look like a piece of dark oak board (to match the finish of the buffet).

This card is awesome, and it instantly grabbed me from the gallery as the page loaded..... I did see the special touches, and loved hearing the story behind the card. I will have to admit, I noticed the Cocoa c/s had something 'special' done to alter the look, but didn't know exactly what until I read all of your description. I'm sure in person, the card is even more awesome!
I hate to tell you this, but chances are pretty good, that the 'bone head' carpenter will need the full tour also!
Congrats on your personally designed buffet! That sounds kewel!
