In honor of the 300th Sketch Challenge, I made a Boss Day card using Speedy the Cat's Southwest Cowboy set. (October 16 is National Boss Day.) I stamped the cowboy onto Corn Husk (Mark's Finest Papers) in black and then added color with Prismacolor pencils blended with cuticle oil. The sentiment was made using MS Word's WordArt feature. I printed it on vellum and punched out a one-inch circle. (If you can't read the circle print, it says "It's Your Day Boss" 3 times.) The DP is Earth Prints & Cardstock Mat Stack that I bought at Hobby Lobby years ago. (It is a cross between red and rust, but looks pinkish in the photo.) I made the lasso out of twine and "borrowed" this idea from Markie's Mom's card found here.
It's getting late, so I will be back tomorrow to look at all the SC300 cards. Can't wait to get the time for this.

Ah ha, looks like someone's trying to earn some extra bonus points! Hope he remembers when your annual review comes around. This is wonderful, dahling, simply wonderful. Rugged, masculine and a real mover and shaker amongst the world's bosses.

Awesome card! I love what you did with this stamp set! All the extras- the brads, 'the boss', and the twine plus the paper and embossing make this a seriously 'to die for' card. Love it!
