Hi! This card was made for todayÂ’s Sketch Challenge and it fits this weekÂ’s SpeedyÂ’s Friends Challengeto use a pumpkin on a card!
Today is a mixed feelings day. My son was given emergency leave from the Army to come home to visit with his grandmother, (my mother, now in ICU/Hospice). I had to go through the American Red Cross to get him home, and it was a long process, but they did get him home to us.
He was greeted at the door by our two Boxer “puppies” as though he was their long lost friend! They jumped on him and licked him all over! (While these two are extremely friendly, they do not JUMP on ANYONE! So, I was VERY surprised!)
He came in while I was making this card and said he like the ghost. I was going to use the Pumpkin stamp, but I decided to switch to this one! LOL The scene was made by punching a hole in the scrap and then the scrap was used as a reverse mask. I used a Copic airbrush with a light yellow and an orange Copic for the moon. Next, I used the punched circle to cover the moon and sprayed on a LIGHT yellow, purple and a green to create the background.
The papers are from a new Halloween Paper Pack.
Finished card size: 5 ½” x 4 ¼”
Total time to create: 21 ½ minutes

I see TWO pumpkins on your card--the charm and the little treats bucket in the ghost's hand. Oh, and the moon looks like a pumpkin too. So glad your son made it home. Hugs.

Your colouring is superbly masterful! I'm glad your son is home. That will be a support at this difficult time for you. Prayers for you and your family.
