The Teapot Challenge this week has a wonderful story by our hostess Cindy and our destination station ties in with Cammie's card drive. Check them out and if you can, play along.
Cindy said to bring flowers this week and buttons and bows and lots of other things. I managed to get one flower on this card - one of the last of summer. We have a 6 foot fence around our vegetable garden in which I've had to include my flowers as we have a major deer problem here. They eat EVERYTHING! Earlier this week I happened to look up to the garden and was surprised to see two deer inside and my husband went up to let them/get them out. Well, his presence scared the bejeebers out of them and they panicked and in the process happened to snap two fence posts holding up the back gate in addition to the three they had already snapped getting in. Oy! They made a quick snack out of my new perennials and anything else that wasn't caged. So, here is my tribute to the flower garden.
Accessories: Scallop Square Duo Die, Square Lattice EF, 3/8" circle punch, dauber, Rose Red stitched grosgrain, white taffeta, white organza, aquapainter, button, white cotton string

WOO HOO! You did a great job with the similarity to the teapot this week! LOVELY card even with your last flower left in your garden! You poor thing, as if getting into your garden and grazing there wasn't bad enough, now look at all the repairs you have to make! LOVE all the dots!

So are you saying we have to have a teaparty and invite your deer to get their minds off your beautiful flowers...hmmm.....what do deer like to do other than eat???? Yikes!
This is the most awesome card! I love that you got one flower on your card. It is so beautiful with the ribbon and bows and buttons......Its a happy little thing and I can so see the teapot in it! Very nicely done!
Okay, I am gonna go send a text to Bambi and see if he has any clout in your neck of the woods....maybe Bambi can get them to show a little respect! Jeeze Louise, I mean Lorraine!!

Ha ha ... here in Michigan we use deer as target practice for our cars ... seems everyone has a story about someone who hit a deer or was hit by a deer!
Love your card. That texture over the stamped image is really pretty, I need to try that!

Great take on the teapot. I'm 2 over from you in the gallery & we could be twins. Well, if not twins, then siblings. Great minds think alike.
Cindy, something deer like to do other than eat is to make baby deer. Wink, wink.

Very lovely and nicely done - looks like a teapot to me. We probably have deer, just haven't seen them lately, but it's the squirrels that are digging holes in everything to bury the peanuts someone is giving them- in lawn, in the flower pots - anywhere - YIKES! You did good on this one.

Lol! Now, that is a great critter story! We had that problem too when I was growing up! Lil rascals! What a delightful card. Love your watercolored bloom on that lovely textured paper. Gorgeous Lorraine!
