For today's TLC we were to stamp on tissue. WOW! Way cool technique Joan!... Dug out some tissue paper and gave it a try......details...
Sounded hard but it was rather easy. I spritzed my tissue paper with glimmer mist and heat dried it. Stamped the Rubbernecker Stamp, french script, over top using early espresso.
Took the 3 tree set from Rubbernecker and stamped the trees using pear pizzazz and wild wasabi. Punched a hole in some paper, used it as a mask and sponged the sun with daffodil delight. Added clouds using RR clouds stencil with baja breeze.
To make the colors darker, I re-stamped it all on the back too. Plus I layered it on baja breeze cs.
Put the layered script panel on a very vanilla card. Made the frame using a rectangle coluzzle, running it through the cb using a Tim Holtz eb folder, then sponging with early espresso.
Oh, forgot, I punched about five MS bows, glued them together. Couldn't decide what color to make it so I left it white, added dots and versa marked and clear ep it.
That is pretty much it. I also wanted to thank all of you for your kind words yesterday. You really know how to make a person feel better. :0).......TFL :0)

Oh my gosh, is this fantastic!!! I'm still not sure how you got that gorgeous scene on the tissue paper without totally destroying it. I love the embossing part too. WOW, your card is awesome!!

WOW, Cathy......you took this tissue paper technique and RAN with it! This is fabulous and yet, for all you did to the tissue paper, it still has a wonderfully serene look. I like the "quirky" bow! (or at least, I think it is an unexpected fun element) Great base work too. Your cards are always SO "complete"! Love your work!
