It's rainy, cold and dark in central Ohio this morning and my mind turned to the aroma of roasting turkey. No I don't have one in my oven.....I just WISH I did.......
Anyhoo........I'm combining both Monday challenges...Miss Boo gave us a sketch to follow for the Clean & Simple challenge today......and Joan came up with the neatest technique of stamping on tissue wrapping paper. Check them out on the home page.
I sprayed tissue wrapping paper with water and then used my heat gun to dry it. I then used my quilting spray adhesive to mount it onto a full sheet of whisper white. (I now have a full sheet of this combined paper to use.) As I rolled it through my Cuttlebug it flattened the tissue even more and now has almost a hand-made paper look to it. Since this is a CAS card I used my Spectrum pad to give color without a lot of fuss. MS punch makes any color paper look like eyelet. My turkey stamp is so old it doesn't even have a gallery here on SCS..but I use it every year..........
Try the tissue technique...it was fun.
Another card for my holiday stash.
Hope you like it.
