....and I can't believe I forgot the black and white gingham ribbon!!!!! How can a self-proclaimed Gingham Girl forget that part???? Please forgive me, Darla! Kept Darla's theme, plaid paper, and lemonade...just moved mine to a jar, changed the ribbon (?) and images, and omitted the brads. I made my plaid dp using a combo of Pic-nic Patterns from WMS and an old SU set.
I LOVE Darla's cards! So fun and cheery, with such beautiful embellies! Made me smile going for a spin through her gallery, even if she is a "has been" queen as of noon today! Carla is already starting to strut around with the crown on (can't you just see that, heeeee!), so I had to make up something quick.
I used a trick from Betsy Veldman's blog, and stamped the lemon from Friendship Jar Fillers Additions in the scallops after I die cut the piece using PTI's large scallop border die!
