Tri-fold craftboard screen sprayed with Ranger inks (mixture of Expresso, Caramel and Latte). Stamped with Judikins Artifacts Cube and Distressed Embossing powder (Vintage Photo). Hero Arts French Script, Stampin Up Delight In Life and various word and butterfly stamps used for background. Sizzix die cut frames and key inked and stamped like the screen and frames secured with brads. Key then heat embossed with Rustique Patina Jade Embossing Powder. Screen embellished with metal tile and paper flowers. Tied together with chocolate ribbons. This technique gives the effect of leather and compliments old black and white photos quite well.
This was not a difficult project but you just need to allow for drying time. I did this over 2 days.
This little screen celebrates my Mum's family and is a lovely way to remember people. You can arrange it in several different ways by folding the screen different ways and can fold it flat for sending.
There is a bit more detail on this project on my blog http://www.mementoesintime.com/apps/...vintage-screen

This is beautiful!!! I love everything about it!!
I'm already thinking how I can make one of my mom & dad. They've both been gone so long...I would love to do something like this with some of their pics.
Maybe even do some for family members too!!
Thanks so much for sharing this, I'm adding it to my gallery!!!

Thanks so much for your comments suni, I am glad you like it. I love looking at my screen, especially as I never got to meet either my grandfather or grandmother. I would love to see what you make too! Pm me if you post a picture :0)
