This card is for today's Technique Lover's Challenge. Reading today's description to use lace as a stencil reminded me of an old technique to use it to create a glittery background. Instead of using ink to sponge through the lace onto card stock, you use a sticker sheet or CS run through a Xyron machine with an adhesive cartridge. Press your lace onto the sheet and sprinkle on a light or dark colored glitter. Shake off excess. Remove the lace and sprinkle on a contrasting glitter. I know the glitter doesn't show well in the scan but is amazing IRL. I like doing this instead of using ink because you can use the same lace over and over. I layered this background onto a folded card and then tied a satin ribbon that has glittery dots onto the card. I stamped a heart image from a long retired SU set and cut it out. I pressed it into a Versamark pad and added Iridescent Ice EP. I tied this heart to the ribbon and added a greeting. Lots of punch for not that much work.
