It looks like she made the card in blacks and greys and possibly light blues.
Anyway, my friend was here, her bday is in Oct. She happened to mention, she hates being stuck with fall type cards. So, since knowing she likes pink and purple and butterflies, I had to make this card.
I chose pale plum as my base. Cottage grove is my dsp, and rich razzleberry is my mat. I layered the long piece behind the chunky piece, took out the sentiment, added an olive ribbon. Added corner brads, and brads along the bottom.

Your friend will honestly love this! Beautiful color choice for a butterfly ... and a non-fall greeting. I know just what she means too, without going into detail, because any & all remembrances are heart-warming. ;)
