This is a great sketch! It really shows the main image well. I combined the sketch challenge with yesterday's color challenge #287.
Unfortunately, this card looks much better IRL! The bunch of flowers to the immediate right of Layer #4, stands up to almost 3/4". On Layer #1, I matted a matching piece of mulberry paper in Peach Parfait. It was a scrap just waiting for a use. Layer #2 is DP from DCWV's baby boy collection.
Layer #3 is a DP of white polka dots on the green paper. It is edged with SU!'s looped scallop border and corner punches. All of the jewelled bling if from Basic Grey. The flowers and leaves are Martha Stewart punches. The veins on the leaves were highlighted with gold gel pen.The centers are 1/16" circle punch.
The main image *Layer #4* is from SU!'s Bloomin' Beautiful. IRL the vase totally matches the Peach Parfait. It was die cut with the large scallop Nestability punch and then matted with Crushed Concord. The corners were punced and then edged in white gel pen. The scalloped circle was edged with Pear Pizzazz marker.
I had so much fun making this card. I can't wait to send it to someone special. Hope you like it, also. Thanks for looking!!! ~Chrysi~
