I combined yesterday's Technique's challenge to make a stage card and today's color challenge: Concord, Pear, Peach.
This was my first time with a stage card - so took me longer than I thought. I tried finding in resources w/no luck, but the instructions can be found here at Kim Score's blog .
I used the set from Taylored Expressions "Hanging out at the Beach". I already miss summer and this had all the elements. I used the peach as base and stick ups ... concord as a mat (since I don't have the ink, I sub'd w/razzleberry) and the pear as the grass layer.
The small images were colored with Copics while the tree on the front and back were colored with prismas/gamsol. I drew the clouds with a white signo pen & dotted the sand with various Copics to give it a bit more texture.
Whew - is all I have to say! I'm definitely going to give this one another run for my money, and maybe map out my pop up technique a little more creatively, but hey, my first one, lol.
Thanks for looking

Super darling card! Love the sentiment to begin with .....and then all your beach-related items that pop up are so beautifully colored and placed on the "sandy" beach. Great work! These are cards for VERY special friends! ; )

I'm totally impressed with this! Love all the little detail, it's lovely to look at, and fun too - the sentiment is absolutely brilliant! Fabulous card.

Very cool!!! I like that you had the guts to do yesterday's challenge. It's a neat looking type of card. I love your sentiment, and how you laid it out.

What a great - and true - sentiment. I like the way the front is the backdrop of the inner scene. Woo-hoo, we are heading off to sunshine and beaches at the weekend.
