Twenty years ago when my daughter was in grade 1, (eek! am I really that old?), her teacher’s mother came in & taught the class a couple of German words. My daughter’s favorite was “schmetterling”, the word for butterfly, & she would walk around the house saying “schmetterling, schmetterling, schmetterling”. I found myself saying the same thing as I was making this card.
This card is going out to Jackie, a fellow stamper diagnosed with breast cancer & undergoing chemo. I can totally relate as I have just returned to work after nearly 2 years of treatment for breast cancer. Treatment & recovery is a long difficult journey. I had many people praying for & encouraging me during my treatments & am happy to be in a place where I can now support others.
