FINALLY -
Well, I am here, but VERY VERY LATE, and I apologize to my Queen, Phyllis, but please, do not send me to the dungeon!! I was away for a couple of days and as soon as I got home, made haste to quickly craft a card in your honor, and hope you think it is worthy enough to save my NECK!! Here is the card I cased: Santa UP Close -- Santa Close-Up by SparklePlenty1000 by SparklePlenty1000 at Splitcoaststampers
Yes, Anne, its a CHRISTMAS CARD!!
I had this image, courtesy of shellapoo (thanks, Michelle!) so that was the first reason I chose this card - it also gave me a chance to try a BIG BOW, and although I did change up the layers a bit, I did use my deckled edge scissors!! I also added some more bling with Stickles, both on his hat and the snowflakes, but also around the edge of the image frame.
Hope it meets with your approval, your Royal Highness - enjoy what remains of your reign, and thanks for all your loving support. Congratulations on your selection AND just in time for your birthday

yikes, I inadvertently hit the enter button and realized I had not finishing comments. Yeah, I'm totally into the mega ribbon and what a sweet image from PA. I bet that girl has every single stamp made within the past 5 years! She always seems to have the best of the best. You've made great use of it too I see. Love the deckled lines, too. Good to know you're back in town, so to speak.

Sue, you are not late!!! I treat this week like I do my birdhday month of September, I celebrate the entire month because I like my friends one on one so that I can concentrate on them! I find when I have a big party like I have a few times in the last few years, I don't get to talk to everybody as much as I want to and go away feeling like I may have slighted some.... I was going crazy trying to keep up with all the commenting! So this is perfect for a few to trickle in a little later!! I hope you had a wonderful camping trip!! Not my cup of tea, I think roughing it is a 5 star hotel without 24 hour room service!! I want to thank you so much for playing in the QFTD25!! I am having a blast and don't want to surrender my crown, cloak and scepter this Friday!! Maybe Anne's dart throwing hand will get a slight crack making it impossible to choose a successor!!

Your card is such a great CASE of Phyllis's original card! I love that you added glitter around the edges which perfectly compliments the glittery edged ribbon you used! I LOVE that big honkin' bow and the deckled edges on your framework too! That sweet Santa image is going to put a big smile on someone's face this Christmas! Great card!
