I was inspired to make these Post-Its by Monica Weaver's Love Letter Post-It Note Holder (http://www.addalittledazzle.com/my_weblog/) -- see 8/24/2010 post. Monica has a great tutorial for making the holders using metal. I made my covers slightly smaller than Monica's to fit 3x3 Post-Its. I cut the metal sheets to the size needed and ran the pieces through the BigShot with the Tiny Flowers Texturz plate. Then I used a sanding block to buff off the color from the raised embossing. You can see the effect better on the Mustard holder. The metal pieces are adhered with Sticky Strip. If you use Snail or similar adhesive, it won't stick because of the embossing. On the Razzleberry holder, the Dew Drops are adhered with mini glue dots. Below are the measurements for my holder:
Cardstock base: 7-3/4 x 3-1/4 scored at 3-1/8, 3-5/8, 4-1/8
DSP strip: 3 x 1
Metal piece: 3 x 2
1/4" grosgrain ribbon: 16 inches (for bow)
5/8" grosgrain ribbon: 12" (for know)
Organdy ribbon: 24 inches (for bow)
5/8" satin ribbon: 22 inches (for bow)
