I was digging through my stamps and came across a background stamp I had never used and suddenly a lightbulb went off; that was our TSC for this week; to use a background stamp we haven't used in forever. Oh, and NO P I N K!!!! Limited time so this one is pure and simple. The background stamp is from Stampabilities and I used Tim HOltz Distress Ink, Old Paper. Cut an image from a book of ephemeral (spelling???) paper images and mounted it onto black CS. Drew some hi-lites with a gold pen to add a little interest........are you interested??? Then mounted a scrap piece of shear gold ribbon and added the image panel. Didn't look like enough so I placed a black dot using my marker in the center of each blank diamond. If you'd like to join in the fun, just follow the rulz I mentioned above and post your card using TSC0903 as key words.

"All life is ephemeral when seen from the perspective of eternity." That's the quote I found when I looked up "ephemeral". Tater, you know some stuff, don't you!! Does that plant just last one day? If so, it is ephemeral. LOL!! That's my new word for the day!! I like your image and the corners. They go well with your BG stamp!! Thanks for the challenge!!

Ooooh, Tate, this is so pretty, love the vintage look of the image. I am so pleased to see you used pink, your most favorite color ever. I like the bg stamp you chose.

CONGRATS on your reign as QFTD! I'm just now going through your gallery and finding lots of inspiration. This card is FAB! Love the bkgrd w/gold highlights and I do so like the ephemera image. The black dots finished it off nicely. Sometimes it's the little details, huh?
