1. friday's free for all challenge was hosted by wendybell.
she challenged us to make a card with an aviary theme.
a little twist was to add a color that you wouldn't normally use.
2. that's where my 2nd challenge comes in. the tuesday's color challenge was more mustard, melon mambo and baja breeze.
I like these colors but I had the toughest time trying to put them together until today. I was trying to get dsp to work in these shades and it wouldn't work for me
but, when I stamped the bird cage and standin the required colors bingo!! it worked great.
3. the 3rd challenge was from thursday's ways to use it.
julia challenged us to make a card with one layer of cardstock. we could add embellies etc.
I used a new cb ef "scrollwork" to frame my image. then i used the su "aviary" set and stamped in more mustard, melon mambo, and baja breeze.
I cut out the bird cage and popped it up on dimensionals.
I added a piece of melon mambo ribbon and a baja breeze button to complete the card.
