I would like to take a moment to publicly declare my love of sponging and masking combined. I just think the look is incomparable!
Here is another of my one layer sympathy cards using trees. For this one I am CASEing a card that I saw done last Christmas (I think by Mingo). I would like to have linked it but I couldnÂ’t find her original in my favorites.
I wanted to make these cards to send in response to appeals on the Card Requests forum. I put my request there for cards for my mom, and many of you wonderful stampers have been kind enough to respond. In the past, I always felt a little awkward sending sympathy cards to strangers, but I have seen firsthand how much it can help. My mom is overjoyed every day that she receives a card!
TFL!

If you have time please consider sending a card to fellow SCSer and my mom, m&m'sgrandma (information is at this link). She was recently diagnosed with cancer and could use a little cheering up. Thanks!

Sympathy cards are what are on my agenda today. I have to make about 5 or so, and I feel a CASE coming on. I love this and that will always be one of my classic stamps that will remain in my forever collection as well.
