Julia has challenged us to a one layer card- a special love of mine. I just can't get Branch Out off my stamping table these days. It's perfect for a little scene like the one I've created today. Each time I drive into my home town I take a mental picture of the mountains and clouds so I can try to create a bit of that on a card. This is my latest attempt. I will have to get a tree image that works better for California but at least this looks good. Much ink was used in the making of this card and lots of masking. I have 5 male birthdays in the family this month so one of my nephews or a brother will get this one.
I hope you like it! Thanks for viewing and commenting today.

Kathy, I love that you used this happy little tree again today.
I love the dark and sultry Fall leaves, the gorgeous sky, the far away mountains and the simply tie string.
I LOVE IT!!!
