I happened to see a card on the gallery made by Mrs. Buckle *alias Pat Smethers" with a delish cowboy. I made a comment on how he dee-lighted me cuz my DH has been deployed since May and not due back till Dec.
Well, suffice it to say, Mrs. Buckle was more than willing to send my "male" ordered cowboy. We've been obsessing on this cowboy to no end. Wondering when my paper cowboy would be delivered by pony express. We were concerned b/c of his large boot size, that it may take longer than usual. Mrs. Buckle even went as far as to send me several "cowboy country" video links to try to tempt me away from my paper cowboy, but I was steadfast, loyal and eagerly awaiting his delivery to my doorstep.
I thought I heard his spurs jingle in the distance and then . . . there he was, not only with a beautiful bouquet of flowers as promised, but with several of his friends and brothers. Who could ask for more than this? When I get tired of one, I rip him up and go to another. Now, is that a mixed up loyalty flaw of mine? Not to mention when DH gets home, I have to hide him in a boot box and take him out for occasional conjugal visits as needed. I'll also have ammunition if my DH won't allow me to get all the stamping supplies I need. I'll dump him for my "cowboys"!! I'll make sure to insure them in case DH decides to shred them to pieces. You can never be too careful about these things.
Mrs. Buckle, this is the MOST SPECTACULAR card and I can't believe I'm actually "holding" a Pat Smether's card. I've been in love with your gallery for such a long time; but, now I'm in love with the cowboy!! SOMEBODY STOP ME!! I'm still obsessed with him. I could take a bath in the beautiful array of flowers you sent - no, not with the cowboy - LOL!!
I really thank you SO MUCH for taking care of my needs while DH away. I'm sure he will appreciate it!! NOT!!
So, what do ya'll think about my paper cowboysssss? Don't even think about "male ordering" one of your own as I got them ALL. There are no more!! But, if you hear the jingle of a spur in the distance . . . you can start getting excited!!
Hugs and thanks for listening to my twisted sense of humor. I really must get a life!!
P.S. Don't any of you let my COWBOY know I'm really a Fruitcake either!!

I see, you'll be having conjugal visits with your male order man.. Too much information , Fruitflakez!!! LOL!!! Poor Mrs Buckle - I bet she had no idea just what she was enabling when she created this lovely card for you!!!
Well, I'm just happy that you've got a man to keep you happy until DH gets back. You can sit beside him on the couch, and watch tv with him, maybe even ask his opinon of your cards!!!This male order husband is good for more than conjugal visits, girl!!Besides, aren't you too old for that sort of thing? I am!!!

Isn't "the cowboy" just the best?! When I was little, I was going to marry John Wayne - alas, we know how that worked out.
Good luck with your cowboy(s).
P.S. Rather than tearing up the paper when you're tired of the cowboy - you should shred them - you don't want anyone getting their hands on him - even if you did throw him away - right? right!
Love your sense of humor.

OH, Pamzi, SOOOO glad your cowboy arrived - before you REALLY turned into a FRUITCAKE!! He shore is a rough and tumble, good lookin', strong and silent type cowboy, if evah I seen one!! OMGosh, ah think I'm a-gonna swoon - somebody get me some cold water!!
Mrs. Buckle fixed you up jus' right till your hubby gets home, but don't you be tearin' him up if you get tired o' him, just cause you got his brothers - you just wrap him up and send him here to this Momma - I will take care o' him real fine!
Well, Pam - Pat and the rest of us certainly have had a lot of fun with this obsession of yours with the WWW cowboy - best time I've had in a long time, concocting stories and such.
As for you, you have him now, so just enjoy him and his brothers undisturbed (till your hubby gets home that is) -
You deserve all the pleasure of owning him now - just be glad I am too far away from VA to come try and kidnap him!! LOL
I enjoyed sharing your twisted sense of humor - what a blast!!Have fun!!!

Holy Smokes Pamzi-your cowboys are just fabulous. I do have my fingers crossed that this guy is more like the "John Wayne" type of cowboy instead of the "Blazing Saddles" cowboy as that "could" be a disaster!!! You have to watch those cowboys who eat beans out on the range!!! lol I am sure you will give him a nice place to stay until the cattle come home. What a fantastic bunch of flowers to!!! Enjoy your loot!!!

Pam, I sure hope dh gets home soon...and I'm thinking he may be on the way. This is a real emergency! With all the bribing going on, I expect to see you with a lot of new supplies before the year is out. I thought the way you had thrown all those pretty flowers out there, the cowboy had died. Looks like a funeral. LOL HAHAHAHA Can't even see that bath mat.
Well, he is a mighty good looking cowboy and Pat did BIG with this card and all that sweet smelling flowers. Enjoy while you can!!!! I'm thinking
the cowboy will never be seen again come November.

Heck, not just one cowboy but three!!! You must be a handful for her to have to send three your way LOL! Glad they are making you swoon. Just make sure the lead cowboy doesn't get wind of them or you may be cowboyless. Until then, enjoy
