Woo-hoo!! My friend Carol was chosen by my friend Susan as the SCS Featured Stamper!!!! Carol what an honor to CASE your first card. I love your gallery & it's been so nice getting to know you. I truely think of you as a friend. We've shared a lot in words. So, my friend CONGRATULATIONS on being today's FS.
You have many cards in your gallery that I wanted to CASE, but I chose this one - your first! You're surprised, huh? You can see your IC100 Leaf Bouquet here: IC100 Leaf Bouquet-My First Upload by BobbiesGirl at Splitcoaststampers
I changed everything except the Faux Silk technique. This is #4 Christmas card done! And, none of the 4 will be repeated!!!! It's taken me almost all day to do 2 cards b/c it's so hot in my stamp room! I had to keep coming downstairs to cool off!!! So for your CASE, I chose this PSX Poinsettia stamp for my only image. After stamping, I watercolored it w/ WCW crayons & an aquapainter. I made my bow w/ the bow easy while waiting for my tissue paper to dry. Then when I went to use the glue stick I found it was dry, so I used a 2 way glue pen. I had to be quick b/f it too was dry!! I ended up cutting my Handsom Hunter twice - like the heat made me forget measure twice, cut once! It is finally finished. I sure hope you like my version of your beautiful first upload.
Again, congratulations & enjoy your day of honor.
Thanks for stopping by to take a peek.

Karen, you really suffered in the heat to get this one finished. All the more reason Carol will appreciate it. I love, love that poinsettia image and your faux silk technique.

Beautiful poinsettias! Love the effect of the faux silk technique. LOL'd at your comment about forgetting to measure twice, cut once... been there, done that, more than a few times. Gorgeous CASE!
