As soon as I saw this cute Greeting Cards set - I knew that I had to have it! The little girl reminds me of an ornament that was given to me as a child , and I still treasure it. Originally, I planned to use non Christmas colours and create a vintage non traditional Christmas card. Well - my love of red and bright colours soon won out - so here is the Christmas card I plan to make for this year.
I'm still undecided about putting diamond dust on the outside scalloped edge . There is diamond dust below the girl , and also on the trim of her jacket , hat , sleeves, etc. I so love the depth of embossing from the new lattice work ef from SU!
Thanks for looking.
No punches used - just two nesties!!

O.K., I just fainted...I was just on the phone with Pam and said, "My gosh, Debzi uploaded a card." I think she fainted, also. LOL How cute, cute, cute. I love that sweet image and I am loving cherry cobbler.

What a darling card! I love that stamp - now it's on my "need" list - lol! I love the diamond dust you used. It really sets the image off. Great coloring, too. Merry Christmas in August. Thanks for sharing your creativity.

Excuse me while I pick myself up off the floor - TWO cards from Debzi 9999 at one time????? What has gotten into you? Trying to work off all those desserts you made on the last one???? Truly, your image is ADORABLE and it's so YOU!! What a great memory of having an ornament like this when you were a child. That makes it extra special. I guess you missed out on a lot of your childhood when they had to move you from pre-school to graduate school with that BIG IQ of yours; but, nevertheless, at least you have one childhood memory tucked away. I have to say, you picked three of the things I LOVE - Cherry Cobbler/White combo, Sparkle and that awesome Lattice Square EF. Isn't that EF the best? I had it for awhile and didn't use it. Then, I saw some cards with it on and thought - What was I thinkin'? I know that 1-2 DIQ shows up all the time, doesn't it??? I truly LOVE this holiday card Debz. Will this card go out in 2020 after you duplicate it?? Will I still be alive then???? I may not be able to make and send holiday cards this year cuz I may be too "tied up" with my paper cowboy!! Why can't I get over this darn cowboy. My DH has been gone too long, hasn't he??? Hugz Debz and I'm so happy to see your cards. You do beautiful work even if you are SMART!!!

Aw, this is just as sweet as can be. It's a little difficult for me to accept that you remember receiving something very similar when you were a child. First of all, can you remember that far back and secondly, did they have things like this back in your day? The color palette is fabulous I might add.
