The image just reminded me of the fun and mischief I got myself in, when younger.
In my younger days, Diane and I were known as the "garden bandits". In the evenings you could find Diane and I just laying low and giggling about our deeds, in the backwoods munchin' on cucumbers, carrots, tomatoes, whatever our catch of the day was. But early in the morning you could see us pick raspberries through the neighbor's fence. Until one day, she told us we could have some because she had too much for herself anyway.
Thank you for reading me. Oh and I don't do that anymore. I buy my produce at the market. LOL

This is so vintage and so pretty! And your story reminds me of similar recollections by DH pilfering pomegranates from the neighbor's tree as a boy. Tee hee!
I don't think we've harvested much of anything that we planted from seed this year, what a crummy summer

Great card, Peggy! And I love the story! I buy my produce too (instead of stealing apples from the neighbors tree), but I do sample the grapes to make sure they aren't sour. {but only is the produce stock person isn't around}
