i enjoyed browsing through your gallery and was really tempted by the beautiful butterfly cards, but i need to work on Christmas cards. this pretty card caught my eye because of the ribbon; it reminded me of this striped ribbon i bought last summer, but it hasnÂ’t worked with anything until today, so thanks for the inspiration. hope youÂ’re enjoying your reign!
this is also for the F4A27 to “think snow…man!”
i distressed the edges, sponged them with gold ink and did the same to the snowflakes – one is felt and one is punched. a gold dew drop was added to the centre. i added stickles to the trees and ground and added the ribbon. the sentiment is a peel off. thanks for looking.

A beautiful christmas card you created girl! Your Penny black trees are simply fabulous with all that sparkely snow! Your ribbon is so festive and your snowflake is wonderful with a paper and felt mix! The gold edging gives it such a touch of class! Thanks so much for playing today! I am really honored!

Whoa, Linda, you're really gettin' in the groove with going outside your comfort zone. You know what I'm thinking? I think you can anything with stamps, paint and paper. You might prefer one style over another, but let me just assure you, girl, you can make a fabulous card no matter what the criteria! Have you heard from school yet?
