It's Teapot Tuesday and Mothermark has us going to Denver, Colorado - we are having tea at the Molly Brown House Museum, the very house that the Unsinkable Molly Brown (Margaret Tobin) lived. Read the full story here
Molly's husband J.J. loved chickens, there were 42,000 chickens everywhere. Hiding in Molly's frilly dresses, in the dryer, stealing feathers from her fancy hats - these chickens were giving her nightmares... So for every Molly thing (hats, pearls, frilly dresses, books etc) that we bring to the tea party we are to take a chicken home with us... Well dang it - I guess I will be taking 11 chickens with me.. I'm a city girl but my husband lived on a farm - so he will know what to do with them - and my son, Kyle and his family, have three chickens at their place - yeah - that's where I will take them - to Kyle's house...
I will be mailing this card off to Alea - she is a 14 year old girl who has had multiple surgeries, been in/out of the hospital for 18 months - and is a great big fan of Molly Brown... hopefully you will send her some SCS love....

At least 11 chickens down. I think you could count the hat, the flower on the hat and the pearl on the flower on the hat all separately . Smart idea to farm them out to your son when you get them home, too. Bright and cheerful, I like this (can you tell it's a cold, grey day here?).

You have added to to Margaret's image and hat collection perfectly. Alea will love this card especially with it's flower embellishments. Thanks for your help.
