Hallo to you all, thought I would do a bit of "whimsy" with this weeks Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge: http://priscillastyles.blogspot.com/
not something flowery, not dramatic, hopefully cute.
The image is comprised of 3 different stamps assembled together, starting with the signpost stamp, with the side flowers cut out and put at a different level, and the wee hedgie popped up in the foreground. The ladybird in the front was popped also and the cheeky sun was cut out to smile down on them all. All colouring was chalks and watercolour pencils with glitz added, and blue tinsel ribbon with red sequins at the sides are on the left of the card. Three tabs with sequins are on the right, and tab and diecut flowers is in the corner. As the image was quite busy and told a little story, I wanted to keep the DP's fairly plain so used "tone on tone" pinky-red papers that have been EF'd with white ink brushed across the embossing. These papers have been torn on the edges for a more casual effect, and then placed on blue CS edged with white ink.
The little hedgie looks like he's having a happy day, and all's right in his world, what do you think? Thank you for looking and your kind comments, and I hope all is well in your world also. Catch you next time.
