Molly, Molly, IÂ’ve been thinking,
said the teapotters;
Now that all is peaceful and calm,
the chickens will want to stay on the farm.
Young Miss Molly started winking,
and slowly rubbed her chin;
she pulled her chair up close to da Mudder,
and she asked her with a grin:
How ya gonna keep 'em down on the farm
After they've seen Paree'
...
Yep, apparently I now have truly lost it as is evident from my card for this week's tea party MMTPT108. But when I read the story of trying to rid Molly Brown's museum from all those chickens, this song popped into my head and wouldn't leave! Check out in the Our Gang Follies of 1936. I remember watching reruns of Our Gang when I was little and this always made me laugh! Changed the words slightly for the teaparty story.
So I'm not really bringing chickens IN ... I'm taking them OUT -- see the sign pointing to Paris. All the chickens are headed that way!
Stamped the Eiffel Tower image with a mix of distress ink in three different colours. Matted with black cardstock and then popped up on somne gold dp that reminded me of chicken wire. Added a Paris sticker and chipboard arrow and three metal chickens.
Thanks for taking a peek!

Oh yeah right......"I am not really bringing chickens in, I am taking them out!" Snort! Although, who am I to say what direction those three are traveling! Besides, no wonder the chickens have been lifting all the feathers from Molly's Hats.....they need something dressy for Paree!
What a kick that link is......you never know where a teaparty story is gonna take the mind......Love the lyrics you re-wrote....but I gotta tell ya, Molly was a classy one and I dare say she probably didn't hang out with the likes of one by the name of Da Mudder! Snort!!!
This card is da bomb! How very funny....love the stamps you used and those chickens are quite the fun embellishment! 3 chickens gone to Paree, 41,997 are left so you see! Thanks Laurie, for getting rid of three! I am very impressed they can read the direction of the arrow!!!

You may say you're checkin' those chickens out, but do we believe you? I like the whimsical card, though, it certainly makes me think of some of the more artier quartiers in Paris, like up around Montmartre. Love that Paris sticker and the DP is wonderful looking.

I am pretty sure they used to have chickens in Montmartre, when it was still a village outside of Paris, long ago...
This is just adorable = so imaginative with the poem and all the Paris elements. Great teapot party addition.
