She is cute, thanks Ellen for the great idea and the instructions listed on your blog, what a great imagination.
I really liked the sitting at a bar in the tropics idea, so I sponged the top half and stamped, scored the brown bartop, embossed the green leaf dp with the new lattice folder and used the Island Oasis dp for her bathing suit, hat and purse. I didn't like the cut outs with the blush blossom paper, so I colored it by hand.....lots of coloring. Same with the hat that I put through the lattice folder, sponged the colors on. I used the cheers set for the drink and watercolored some tropical fruit drink in the same colors. I had to ask my husband if it looked like a real drink. lol. I do need a drink! lol.
I liked it so well I made 12 for our club swap tomarrow. Half way through I was asking myself why I was so ambitious with this one.......??? but I do think it's cute.

OMGosh! I LOVE IT! Your drink looks YUMMY! The whole card is so CUTE! I didn't get the DP, but do have the Tropical stamp set.
You have much more patience than I do, I put Ellen's in my FAVS too, but that is a LOT of work, I will probably never get around to making it! So glad you did though! So proud of you for making 12 more to share at your club swap, wish I was a member!

I've seen someone do this with punches before, but you surpassed it with the gorgeous scene you created. I actually feel like I am sitting at the bar enjoying a Pina Colata... So Cheers!!!!
