Today is Release Day at Artistic Outpost. This card uses the new set Neverland, which features images from the fairytale land that is home to Peter Pan. The Darling children are also featured with a lovely ATC sized collage of Wendy and a flying illustration of John and Michael. Lots of fun scenes you can create with these adorable kiddos, including an intense conversation between Wendy and Peter. I love all of the wonderful sentiments that are included with the images ... so many possibilities.
I started with a piece of Basic Grey designer paper that I sponged and sprayed with glimmer mists to look like a deep night sky with clouds and shimmering stars.
Next I stamped the children directly onto the background in Memories India ink and stamped them a second time on a peachy-pink cardstock, and a third & fourth time on the designer paper that would become their pajamas. I detail cut each image, and layered the papers to create my cute flying boys.
The city scape was partially stamped twice to cover the entire base of my card. I used colored pencils and markers to shade the buildings. The final step was stamping my sentiment onto yellow cardstock, punching out a circle, and doing lost of sponging with Distress Inks to create my glowing night moon.
My blog has links to the other designers, so you can check out the entire set as well as more cards made with this fun new set.
