I am so very glad that the Mother was able to give us all this great info for Dante... I was able to put a little bit more into this card for him...
First off, I stamped one of Fred Mullet's great fish stamps... then I embossed it the way that Fred teaches to do it... multi colors, and then after adding about 8 different colors... I then watercolored the fish with Twinkling H20's... I knew prior to starting that the fish would be too large for the card... but I had planned on doing this for him... so I went ahead and after making the fish I scanned it and then printed it to fit the panel... I then made the medallion to match the fish...(by making the tea bag tile with a program... then folding each of the 8 tiles the same way... for more info on Tea Bag Art... go to my web site http://www.lovelightandpeacebonnie.blogspot.com and go to Medallion art blog on the side panel) This particular medallion had 80 folds... of which in my letter to Dante I explained that each fold a prayer was said for his healing to take hold of him and get him all better... I also did a similar medallion for Julia also on her card...
I mounted the fish on a Spellbinder label 10 and then using a piece of specially painted paper with Twinkling H20's which I ran thru the Cuttlebug with D'vine Swirl... I mounted it all on there... ready to send to him...
Okay... now for the story...
Dory... the name of this glorious fish... he is really a very special fish... he is a member of the Silver fins... but he is different... so they really don't like him either... so he decided to make a life for himself by becoming a SPECIAL FISH... He has polka dots all on his belly!!!! Black ones too... (Okay Cindy... calm down) and he is colored in Turquoise and Lime... with darker colors of greens and blues... he is just beautiful... but because he has polka dots he feels and looks different... and he is... he is one of the prettiest fishes around... and he is very very intelligent too..as he has learned how to swim over 42,000 waves in 42,000 mega seconds... which is VERY VERY FAST... he is also thin and flat... so not many people like to really catch these kinds of fish to eat... but sometimes he gets caught... and when people catch him, they realize he is something special and put him back into the water... he has been caught a number of times... but he knew that one of these times he just might see the end of his swimming days... but not yet... as Dory is still swimming and having a lot of fun... you see he doesn't want to end up on a board singing songs that he doesn't like... so he has sworn off worms... all kinds of bugs... and eats a diet of seaweeds and algae... and he feels a lot better... no more hooks in his lip!!!!
Anyway... he is off for the marathon this week.. he has to make the 42,000 waves a little bit faster this week... and he is also going to stop off and see this little boy Dante... and wish him a long life of fishing... but not to fish for him... LOL...
I hope that some of the Silver Fins get together and create a nice card for Dante too.. .I am sure a lot of them will...
Thanks ... and it is good to be back in the gallery today... love seeing you all again.. talk to you all later.. with comments etc...
Love, Light and Peace...Bonnie

Yah! Bonnie's back! And OMG! You are back with the most amazing and wonderful artsey card! Okay, I totally 100% read your whole instructions from the very beginning to the very end and I find that I am really quite the brilliant person, for realizing why I don't like techniques.....has something to do with......whut? Duh! I don't get it, can you do mine for me? Snort! So Bonnie, whenever we have need for a fish of this caliber which might be quite often, I am comin' to you girlfriend! What an awesome awesome fish, no wonder he's such a throw back! No one wants to be responsible for being the demise of a fish like this! I am so impressed!
So glad you told me to calm down just at the right minute cuz my heart started beating so hard it was sending out little waves in the water and skeering all the fish! Yikes!

Oh my! What a gorgeous creation this card for Dante is! I love the way you colored your fish... he's beautiful. The medallion is so pretty too, and the 80 prayers represented by the folds is an incredible gift for Dante and his family.
