I made four cards tonight--all to go to friends who have had a very tough week. Having gone through a similar experience about 5 years ago, I'm spending a lot of time thinking about and praying for them.
This is one of the most beneficial things about paper crafting, especially card making, in my opinion. I find it a very effective meditation or relaxation technique. I find time to think of others instead of just myself.

Oh you are so right about the benefits of cardmaking. It is not only beneficial for ourselves (I find it very therapeutic), it is such a blessing to pray over the cards we are making for friends who may be going through a difficult time. This card is just beautiful, and your friend is going to absolutely love it!

I know what you mean. I make cards for everyone in our church (every occasion - we have a small church.)
I try to pray for them while I'm making the cards and use it as a ministry.
Your card is lovely!!
Beautiful card! I really want to try making one like it, thanks for the inspiration, and prayers for your friends, will you include me, my lower back is hurting.

This is so beautiful and I share your thoughts concerning the joy of praying for the person I'm making a card for. I know the Lord blesses the recipient through this ministry of hand-crafted cards.
Your friends are going to be touched by these expressions from your heart!

Sarah, you've touched many stampers with this card. I love the tiled look of it. And your colors are simply beautiful. That little touch of olive makes that a very special tile. Really love your layout.
Thank you for making such a wonderful card. I know your friend will be blessed by your prayerful card.
