We were challenged by Wendy to make a get well card for someone and actually send it. (By the way Wendy, hope your toe gets feeling better)
I decided to make one for my sister ShariLynn. She has been bed ridden this week with complications from Chrone's disease. She has 8 children under the age of 13. She also homeschools. It is really hard for her when she gets down because she is just a little outnumbered. My brother in law is a great guy and helps a lot, but he is a professor and with school getting ready to start up has a lot to do to. I just hope this cheers her up. I rarely think to decorate the envelope or inside of the card, and today I remembered to do both.
I have a tutorial on my blog on the I-S-S technique that I used on this card. ***warning*** I have music on my blog so you might want the volume control handy!!

MariLynn, what a beauitful card and one I'm sure your sister will so appreciate. I am so saddened to hear about her chrone's disease. If you send me her address, I'd love to send her a card.
