I have a friend who has been spending his summer in Germany. I have been enjoying his photos that he has been posting on Facebook. It is almost like I get a mini vacation. One of the photos that he took this week was a field of heliotrope. I tried to create his photo on my paper. I only used 2 solid pieces of paper on this card. I used white and purple. I have been using the ink-spray-smash "I-S-S" techique alot recently. Partly because it is a cheap way to make plain white paper into dp. The other reason is, I love how no two piece look exactly alike. I found out as a happy discovery, that if I stamp random images before I "I-S-S" the paper will absorb the new ink differently than on just plain white paper# I then inked up my new Daffodil and Anise set by Mark's Finest Papers I used a green and purple marker. I then used prisma colored pencils to color the flowers in. I stamped the butterfly with black stazon ink and cut it out. I did a little antennea-ectomy (or creative cutting) I used a rub on for the butterfly trail. I added flowers in the corner. There are buttons in the centers of all the flowers. On the little flowers I added an additon of pearls to the buttons. I stamped the sentiment with black stazon ink and added a ribbon.

MariLynn, this is so pretty! I love the flowers on the bottom stamped right on that dsp, and then the same dsp for the sentiment. Such pretty colors!

WOW, I love your personally made dp - it is gorgeous!!! I do see a beautiful field of wild flowers. Your butterfly is really pretty floating amongst the flowers too. Very nice card!!
