Another card made to celebrate the Mark's Finest Papers August Release, using the brand-spanking-new Regal & Proud set.
I was totally inspired by the "Peaceful Dawn" sentiment in this Regal & Proud set. I pulled out my brayer and, using a great "Poor Man's Spectrum Pad" technique from this post (http://corgi-creations.blogspot.com/...m-ink-pad.html) on mtgchic's Corgi Creations blog (thanks, Meg!), set out to create a pastel pre-sunrise sky above my partially silhouetted mountain range. I was so pleased with my best-ever brayer session {insert big happy face here} that I kept this card clean and simple.
Accessories: CM corner rounder punch, SU large oval punch, SU scallop oval punch, MS deco fan border punch, sponge, brayer, sheet of acetate, dimensionals, scissors, gray pearls

Emily, what a serene, gorgeous dawn you've created! It is so soft and beautiful, what care you must've taken to do that. And I like that you chose black as a cs color; not only does it draw attention to the card, but it reminds me of the night sky holding on just a bit longer as the sun starts to wake. Ahh. Love it.

This is so peaceful and calming - I love that sky. I have seen skies like this in NM (that state has the coolest sky colors!). Wow - I am just about sold on this set - you make it look so great!
