I've been meaning to try distress glue for some time, and with the tutorial in the Inkling today, this was the time. I like how my panel turned out, but not the card. Criticism/feedback appreciated. For me, the embellishments are too squared off, although adding an extra snip of lace on the left helped. I had nothing in the bottom right corner at first, but then it just looked unbalanced.
Followed the tutorial for the background, stamped with Stampendous Agapanthus in StazOn Stone Grey, crumpled and wiped with Old Paper. Tore the edges and sponged with green and blue. Base is a piece of Basic Grey stamped with RubberNecker backgrounder in Faded Jeans.
Lace added across the panel, edges distressed. Photo turns on the left.
HA sentiment stamped on a piece of grunge paper wiped with Old Paper and embossed with clear EP, then cut with Spellbinders Tag. Edged with a gold pen, attached with a dragonfly brad.
Bottom right corner, tried all sorts of things - folding it back, folding it under, Prima flowers...
In the end I punched a daisy from an old page, punched a centre to put under a green page pebble and went with that.
TFL.

I love the distressed glue image~beautiful colors! And I know what you mean when you're just not sure about a card! I upload them anyway, because sometimes you spend alot of time on them! I love the lace and the small flower at the bottom. TFS

I like all the elements. Is it that you have something in every corner and the distress look doesn't usually call for that kind of symmetry? Maybe if you put the flower with the tag, tore that corner down just a tad, and left that 4th corner with no embellishment. I usually just move stuff around and play until it pleases my eye. What I find really annoying is when I think I like it and glue it all together and then when you look through the camera eye, you realize you should have done something different.

I spent FOREVER trying to figure out how to arrange my distressed glue panel and I have another one on my desk waiting for me to do something with it. So, I am not the one to give feedback here on arranging the embellishments. ;-)Your card looks great as is. I love how your distressed glue panel turned out. The colors are great and I like the images you stamped on it. I also like the torn edges.

Love your card--backgound piece and lace work out so well, although I would never have thought of using lace. Think I always go for less is more and would have left all embellishments off except the tag and maybe tried it in the lower right corner. However, can't imagine anyone actually being unhappy with this beautiful card. We are always our own worst critics.
