I love the look of faux wood. I decided to do mine over vintage script. The reason being, it reminded me of a deserted cabin we once saw high up in the Rocky Mtns. The wood walls were lined with old newspapers. I thought why not put some script on my faux wood. So I didÂ…..detailsÂ….
On very vanilla cs, I stamped the CHF vintage script bg. Then I visited Stamp TV for the instructions on Gina KÂ’s faux wood. I followed it somewhat. The scoring was what caught my eye. I changed the colors of ink too.
This card is also for the Midnight Madness Sketch. Phyllis is so diligent about asking each and every one of us to play along. So today I played along. What a fun sketch too. For my cross panel I used mosaic tape and lotÂ’s of tiny strips of scraps that I just canÂ’t throw away. heheÂ…Â… probably because I have this huge roll of mosaic tape!
For my main image, I stamped and clear ep it. Then colored with re-inkers. Cut it out with a nestie, also eb it. Left the nestie on and sponged the edges. Layered with black cs and popped up over the mosaic panel. Put all this is on a white card.
Well, another card done. What fun!.....Hope you like itÂ…..TFL :0)
Hi Sis! HowÂ’s your knee?
Note to all: My sis, Connie Jo9, is in Kansas with Builders for Christ. On Monday she fell down and tweaked her already bad knee. So she has been working with lots of pain. If you have an extra card that youÂ’d like to send to someone, IÂ’m sure she would love to take it off your hands so to speak. hehe Would really help her forget her pain. Thanks! :0)

What a dang hoot this is,girl. Yup, if you dont have, make it. It's easy, isnt it? Your card is wonderfully CAS and just as sweet as can be. I dont think I've seen you use this image before. She looks like one even I might be able to drawn. I see you've used that dp you've made for me; the one that has all those strips of dp attached to some kinda tape backing. What little I can see, it's perfect for this. Such a great fun card. Thanks for spreading the word about sis.
You go russian spy, you just go!
