This is for today's Ways to Use It challenge to use woodgrain - if I had more time I'd love to try the faux techniques for this but I don't, so fortunately I had this weathered wood dp. I thought it suited the vintage look of the roses and plaid dp, so I distressed all the edges to keep the vintage theme. This is also for yesterday's sketch challenge. This will probably be my last upload for several weeks as I'm packing to head to Uganda on Sunday with a team from church to work at a school. Looking forward to it, but I'll miss seeing everyone's lovely work in the gallery!

This is absolutely gorgeous! It all looks so antiqued. Love your flowers.

I think I have that weathered wood DP, too. It sure looks great behind your wonderful plaid paper!!! The coloring on your rose is beautiful, and I love that you added the three small coordinating roses. Very pretty card.

Gorgeous card and love the combination of plaid pattern, woodgrain, and the soft colors are a super contrast.
