Last night I saw a sketch challenge that I thought looked like fun. I picked a card stock, background paper, stamps, ink and began. The stamp I chose was too large for the area so “no problem” I shrunk it down. Not quite that easy however. My printer doesn’t copy yellow or green very well and I had chosen a green ink to stamp with. After too many to count tries I got just what I wanted. It looked a little boring so I thought I’d water color it. “No problem” except I forgot I had copied it so when I applied the watercolor the printer ink smeared and the paper got puckered. “NO problem” I’ll copy it again on water color paper. I did that and colored it but in doing so I got a few tiny paint drops on the paper. No problem” Ill stipple the whole piece and it will look like they are supposed to be there. But now the image piece is a cream color & my card & background paper are too white against it. “No problem” I’ll just put a little distress ink on the edges of the cardstock & background paper to soften the color. That worked except in doing the background paper I wrinkled it. “No problem” I’ll just run it through the Cuttlebug with a folder & you won’t be able to tell it’s got a wrinkle in it.
So, after many hours and “no problems” I have an end result! TFL :D
