This is for Mothermark's teaparty this week where we are supposed to make super quick cards. Can't get much faster than this. I printed the flamingo (from Squigglefly) and then swiped chalks across the card. Once I had the background looking like i wanted I just erased the chalk from the flamingo and then colored with Copics. A few water lines with a white gel pen by his leg and some stickles for sparkle on the water pretty much finishes the card!

No way! That is how you do that??? Awesome! Hey, I have some chalks but I thought I was supposed to use them on the sidewalk outside and skip around! Even that technique I do not do! Snort!
This is so awesome...I love the hint of sparkle....looks like a sandy beach. The colors here are very soft and subtle and the pretty pink of the flamingo is perfection! I love what you did here....you do quick, quick, fast, fast, simple, simple, good! Whoot!

Thanks for explaining what you did - I am going to try that technique myself. Love your flamingo!
