Have you ever made a card for a challenge and when you were done looked at it and said, "Now how did this happen - it doesn't have a single element from the challenge in it. How am I going to explain that?" That is what happened to me with the teddy bear cards on here. I read Cindy's post and then ran off really quick to make 2 fast cards before work. I didn't get completely finished in the few minutes I had to spare so I colored the images when I got home. Then I realized that the card had some embellishments, wasn't flat, and had nothing to do with the story line. So I made two really fast cards that matched the story line. So that is how I got 4 fast cards.
Bear card story: Ginger is Back! She still has that drinking problem, I mean narcolepsy problem, but she wanted to bring some cheer to those poor kids at the Akron Children's Hospital Burn Unit. She is already resting up for the trip in the mail she will be taking.
Cow card story: Moe was so exhausted after his auction, that his sister and brother sent him off to Hawaii to recuperate. His plane was met with pretty girls passing out lei's and now he is already feeling better! Who wouldn't feel better once they got to Hawaii (and the trip was free too which makes it even better)?
Fun challenge Cindy - I love the Destination Station idea wherever it came from - it makes this challenge extra special every week (and it was already super special before that)!
PT - one punch on the cow cards - about 6 or 7 times each.

Well, my first thought was....why is she worried about the rules? Hee! We have never worried about the rules....half the time, I cant even remember what they were 10 minutes after posting the challenge! Snort! But you know what, I am glad your were worried about it because you ended up with 4 cards not 2! Whoo Hoo!
I am so glad to see Ginger.......How kind of her to come out for the kids......she is precious....although in true Ginger fashion, a little sleepy, if that's what you call it! And Moe? OMG! Will he ever come home? Hawaii and leis are so much moe his style, s-l-o-w paced..........he might be so destressed that he can't even think about his new career....or maybe he doesn't have one! I have not heard how the audition went yet, but you and I know he's probably unemployed!!
So glad you are here with these cards Nancy! They are so cute! You make quick fast cards look like 42,000 hour cards! They and you ROCK!!!

Well Nancy you know I am going to tell you how much I love the bear card....and the bear is even named "Ginger"!!! I am not sure if that is the stamp name or the character in the story...but I love the name....Ginger's last name wouldn't be "Beary" now would it. lol That is a nickname I have had for about 15 years that goes back to my Boyds Bear Forum name when I used to do secret sister things. It comes from a set the Boyds Bears did that were all done in a Gingerbread theme that I absolutely adore called the Gingerbearies!!! Both of these cards are sure to put a smile on those children's faces. They are crafted beautifully. Loved your story post. tfs

Wow! I had to laugh when I read your comments about making the bear card and the challenge rules because I thought there were no rules (well Da Mudder "rules" but thats a whole different staory). What cute and well designed cards! Cindy is very sweet and will be well loved by the little patient who receives it. Moe . . . well what can we say about Moe! I think he is going to end up staying in Hawaii. Maybe he will end up on the new Hawaii 5-0 tv show because he is such a dapper cow! TFS
